During the festive period,  there are a lot of cultural events happening in various community  to mark the end of the year and the beginning of a new one  . This picture depicts the mothers doing their traditional dance to mark the end of a year and also give thanks to God for allowing them see a new year . They are also wearing  uniforms which is the kirikiri star fabric and their white lace top . This fabric is very known with Igbo women from the eastern region of Nigeria .
